Get Tickets Now: Special Performance of To Kill a Mockingbird at Midland Center for the Arts

Midland, MI - November 10, 2008

During the month of November, The Midland Center for the Arts is presenting Harper Lee's classic story, To Kill a Mockingbird. The Dow Chemical Company’s African American Network, in partnership with the Midland Center for the Arts, is inviting area schools and community organizations to a special event in the Center’s brick lobby before the show on November 13 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

"By supporting events like the To Kill a Mockingbird performance, we hope to inspire each of us to consider our personal roles in creating positive change, and in reminding ourselves of the power of inclusion and the pain of exclusion," states George Biltz, executive sponsor of the network.

Tickets for this special event are now on sale for $25 per ticket (includes the reception and performance). The special event tickets are limited so please contact the Midland Center for the Arts Box Office at 631-5930 to purchase. Be sure to ask for the "Dow Network Event" when requesting tickets. The reception will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., followed by the performance from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

General admission tickets are also available for the November 13 performance (adults $16; students $15). All proceeds from the reception will be donated to a local charity to benefit our community.
