Dow Europe GmbH announced today that it will deliver a presentation at Plastic Piping Systems Eurasia (Istanbul, Turkey, September 29-30) titled “PE-RT, A New Class of Polyethylene for Pipe Applications at Elevated Temperatures.” The presentation, at 14:30 on Tuesday, September 29, will showcase advances in the company’s DOWLEXTM PE-RT (polyethylene of raised temperature resistance) Resins, a family of polyethylene resins suited for pipe manufacturers requiring extreme flexibility, high-speed extrusion, processability, and high temperature resistance. The presentation will cover the use of DOWLEX PE-resins for industrial applications and describe the benefits of DOWLEX 2388 and DOWLEX 2344 PE Resins. They can be used for a wide range of hot and cold water pipe applications, including floor heating, radiator connections, snow-melt systems, heat exchangers, solar panels, heat recovery systems, hot or cold drinking water networks and plumbing. The presenter will be Detlef Schramm, Application Technology Leader for Pipes and Geomembranes at Dow Europe GmbH.
