Horger, Switzerland - May 05, 2009

Effective immediately, or as contract terms allow, Dow Polyurethanes, a business group within The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates including Dow Europe GmbH, will increase prices in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent for its polyurethanes raw materials. Prices for Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) will increase by 200 USD/MT, and prices for Polyols by 100 USD/MT.

“The continuing rise of feedstock and energy costs has a big impact on our margins, which have become unsustainable,” says Sudhir Shenoy, Product Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
