Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions for polyethylene (PE) resins, based on the continued raw material cost developments that the company is experiencing and the need to restore its margins.
Effective June 1, 2009, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase prices by 50 Euros per metric ton for all grades of its low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins.
