Due to the further increase of raw materials and energy costs for polystyrene and to restore polystyrene margins to minimum sustainable levels, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions for polystyrene resins.
Effective July 1, 2009, or as contract terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH will increase its polystyrene prices by 120 Euro per metric ton for all general purpose and high impact STYRON™ polystyrene resins and STYRON™ A-TECH™ advanced technology polystyrene resins.
