Effective July 27, 2009, or as contracts terms allow, Dow Europe GmbH is announcing a price increase across the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian regions for all its synthetic rubber grades by:

200 Euros per metric ton for its - Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR)

240 Euros per metric ton on all its - Polybutadiene Synthetic Rubber (PBR)
The recent price developments on the monomer side, especially on butadiene, have forced the Dow Synthetic Rubber business to increase prices globally in order to keep its long term sustainability.
