Dow Flooring Increases Prices for Emulsion Polymers Products in North America

Midland, MI - July 24, 2009

Effective August 17, 2009, or as contracts permit, Dow Flooring, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company and its subsidiaries, is increasing the prices of all styrene butadiene (S/B) latex and acrylic latex products sold into the carpet industry by US$0.12/lb (dry) in the United States and Canada. This price increase is being driven by the escalation of raw materials costs used in the manufacturing of our latex products.  All other terms and conditions remain the same.
